Are you?

  • Experienced in establishing, and working with, Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, API Q
  • Experienced in establishing, and working with, Training Management Systems such as API TPCP
  • Experienced in establishing, and working with, HQSE Management Systems, ideally OSHAS 1800
  • Proficient in, or have good working knowledge of CAD Package programs such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Microsoft office programsAccounting SoftwareSAP systemsProduct information management systems / databases

Do you?

  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Upstream Industry, ideally in position affiliated with crane maintenance and mechanical handling
  • Have a good understanding with current and relevant experience of the offshore crane industry
  • Have an Industry standard apprenticeship completion as a minimum
  • Have practical skills and knowledge of past and modern crane industry processes and practices

The Draughtsperson will:


  • Complete production of working roughouts, conceptual design output and detailed design outputs such as fabrication drawings, general arrangements, repair schemes, lifting plan sketches.
  • Prepare MTO packages
  • Actively contribute to drawing office systems and procedural development
  • Selfcheck drawings and data and checking of colleague design outputs
  • Prepare basic engineering design calculations with a view to further develop engineering competence
  • Carry out design scopes through to completion within set budgets and maintain budget monitoring over design scope duration
  • Carry design scopes through to completion within set project planned delivery dates
  • Contribute to design scope quotations within the companies SMS systems by including estimates of draughting budgets
  • Handle design scope quotations through all stages from initial quoting stage through to invoicing.
  • Carry out site and offshore dimensional surveys and prepare detailed survey reports in various locations (Global function if required)

  • Drive and deliver high standards/results. Ability to review priorities and update plans accordingly

  • Incorporate existing operational management systems from within the group whilst utilizing own experience and skills to develop systems according to local marketplace requirement.

  • Ensure process, business units, policies and practices support the overall achievement of the company and the customer proposition
  • In relation to specific future issues, the Draughtsperson should demonstrate ability to act quickly and decisively to prevent actions which may mean a significant decrease in output
  • Understand the medium to longterm implications of potential problems and act to develop plans to minimise effects
  • Anticipate and prepare for future obstacles that may be less obvious to others
  • Scan the marketplace to identify future changes that may impact on own area and act creatively to benefit from them

HSQE Responsibilities:


  • Ensure team members follow current business policies and procedures:
  • Design Services, Service, Business Development, HSQE, HR, IT and Finance.
  • Identify and report noncompliance with policies and procedures and assist in resolving the issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in improvement programmes and implementing change.
  • Support a First-Class safety culture and ensure environmental compliance:
  • Lead by example and communicate to all colleagues that safe work and safe operations is an absolute requirement
