The Goddard Arms is a friendly 17-bed hotel located in the heart of Old Swindon.

We are rich in history, from our meeting room, the Court Room, which is exactly as the name implies, rumours are that some of the guilty never actually left.

The Goddard Arms is an old converted Coaching Inn with a great beer garden.

We are right next door to the beautiful 50 acre Lawns Park, which was once the estate of the Goddard Family, where our name comes from.

We are passionate about great British food, our rich heritage of cask ales and newer craft beers, our extensive gin selection and our wine range.

From a quick lunch or snacks with a drink after work, to a sit down dinner or a party with canapés and Prosecco, we can cater for any guest.
