Assistant Accountant
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client seeks an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.


This job would suit an individual with AAT Level 2 and 3 Qualifications, or currently part qualified in CIMA or ACCA.

Motor dealership experience is required for this role.

The company are a well-established motor company and highly regarded within their industry.

The successful individual will have good attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft suite is also essential, especially good Excel knowledge.


Job responsibilities:

  • Fixed Asset Register
  • Inc Depreciation Journal Monthly
  • Multi business posting
  • Assist with Day to Day queries from different level staff in the business


  • Month End Journals

  • Standard Accruals, Prepayments, Profit & Loss review adjustments & Vehicle Depreciation
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Manufacturer Statement Reconciliations
  • Vehicle Debt Review
  • VAT Return
  • Production of Management Accounts
