Approved Training are looking for a dynamic Employability & Skills tutor to join their award-winning team.





OVERVIEW:
EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

We are looking for an Employability Tutor with experience of delivering vocational qualifications, supporting learners through their learning Journey to successfully achieve qualifications within Adult Skills.

Delivered specifically through Sector Based Work Academies (SWAPS)

Delivered across a 2 week period


DUTIES/


RESPONSIBILITIES:
EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

• Wolverhampton based delivery to learners in a classroom environment
• Ability to deliver: Health & Safety Level 2, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Safeguarding training, Employability training.
• Working to quality standards and completion of targets
• Assisting with the enrolment of learners
• Organising and maintaining documentation of learner's progress to a high standard

QUALIFICATIONS &


COMPETENCIES:
EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR

• Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS, AET etc)
• Must have a up to date DBS
• Previous experience working in a catering environment ideal.
• Track record of delivering funded employability programs (including accredited and non

- accredited qualifications)

• Experience working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomes
• History of working with people with complex barriers to progression
• Passion for people development
• Ability to travel to Wolverhampton City Centre

Salary:
£22.00-£32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 per week
