Events Delegate Registration Project Manager - B2B corporate events.
Salary:
£30 - 35, 000 + per annum
Full time role - Hybrid working pattern
12 month fixed term contract - potentially leading to a permanent role.
We are currently recruiting for a Registration Project Manager to work on client accounts for a global creative and dynamic marketing and events agency based in London SE1 area.
he Registration Project Manager is responsible for managing the end
- to
- end delivery of an event or multiple events for one specific client. This position requires excellent communication, organisation, leadership and problem-solving skills.
They are responsible for ensuring that all project elements function effectively and offer professional service to both internal & external stakeholders.
The ability to delegate event tasks to assigned team members is critical along with the ability to exerciseindependent judgement in the resolution of conflicts and issues.
Key requirements:
- Significant level of demonstrated project management skills are required to manage both internal & external stakeholders
- Strong multitasking and time management skills to manage concurrent tasks efficiently
- The ability to work to a time line and keep project on track
- Strong leadership skills to manage the project team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, strong organisational skills
- Proactive and creative thinker
- Previous experience in Events project management and events registration, registration platforms and familiarity with registration deliverables
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite skills, especially MS Excel/ Google Sheets
- Experience in a marketing agency would be useful
- European language is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- To determine the registration scope and create, review and edit project timelines and project plan to ensure programs are on track
- Partner with the IT Project Manager to understand the technical specifications for the registration and reporting
- Act as the primary client and internal contact for all registration related information and issues
- Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members and provide ongoing mentoring
- Create and update operational documents for team members to understand the event(s) and provide training
- Manage registration data integrity and prepare client reporting
- Provide a consultant type role as a "Subject Matter Expert" for the client and others in the
- Manage event inboxes within service level agreements
- Manage multiple events and event roles simultaneously
- Travel to attend events internationally (including weekends)
- Plan and manage onsite registration processes and deliverables as needed
- Work with client, suppliers, other vendors and coworkers in multiple locations and time zones
- Deliver and support on virtual events in multiple time zones, managing chats/IMs with delegates and exhibitors.
- Handle delegate payments, supplier invoicing and related tasks, when necessary
