NDT TRAINER/INSTRUCTOR

Main Responsibilities:


  • Tutoring NDT courses to our students.
  • Supervising and providing guidance to students in practical and theory training.
  • Grading/Marking of student theory and practical assessments at the end of the each day.
  • Ensure all training samples in your approved NDT method is rotated and used effectively.
  • Conduct student counselling when/if required.
  • Manage equipment specific to your approved NDT method and ensuring that damaged, faulty, out of calibration or otherwise unsuitable equipment is quarantined and brought to the Training Managers attention.
  • Ensuring paperwork and practical area for courses/training is prepared in advance, seeking assistance from the Course Tutor(s) when/if required.
  • The housekeeping and security of approved NDT method area(s).

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Certified to Level 2 or higher in relevant main NDT methods
  • Has proven experience in the NDT methods held (has previous NDT experience working in the NDT field/offshore, not essential though)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills.
