Stores Operative

£23,800 to £25,000 per year

Nursling, Hampshire

As a Stores Operative you will carry out various duties which include:

  • Picking and checking goods against sales advice notes
  • Packing goods ready for dispatch
  • Labelling boxes accurately and clearly
  • Matching and printing delivery consignment notes from the system
  • Logging daily delivery transactions (courier / post etc)
  • Checking the quantity of orders for dispatch
  • Keeping the stores and packing area clean and tidy
  • Assisting in the workshop with assembly duties when required
  • Assisting in periodic and annual stock taking
  • Perform other warehouse related duties as required
Some of the key skills required for the Stores Operative roles include:

  • Previous warehousing / stores experience
  • Be physically fit and able to lift boxes weighing up to 25kg
  • Good attention to detail


The working hours for the Stores Operative role is
Monday to Friday's from 08:30 to 17:30, with an hour for lunch.

No weekends or overtime required.
