  • A unique opportunity has arisen to join a Secondary school in the S8 area of Sheffield on a longterm basis working fulltime term time only. For the right person, there is a permanent job on offer following the 12week temporary contract. The role is to start in September 2023.

About the role:

- providing support to KS3 and KS4 students in whole class, small groups and 1:1 settings
- taking identified children for planned interventions and booster support
- covering a range of the curriculum to support the teacher enabling the children to meat the learning objectives set
- effectively managing classroom behaviour under direction of the class teacher
- being a positive role model to young people
- liaising with the teaching team and SLT with feedback on students learning and attitudes
