Job Purpose Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing Daily Cashflow.
  • Processing Purchase Ledger Invoices.
  • Reconciling Supplier Statements.
  • Raising Sales Ledger Invoices.
  • Preparing BACS Payments.
  • Process, Check and Maintain Barclaycard Reports.
  • Inputting General Ledger Journals.
  • Assist with Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Assist with Preparation of Annual Budget
  • VAT Returns.
  • CITB Levy/CITB Claims.
  • General Accounts/Administration Duties.
  • Participate in the Planning of the Department's Workload
  • Assist Other Departments When Required.

Skills/Experience:


  • Good Microsoft Excel and Word experience are essential.
  • Experience using accounting software is required.
  • Experience working in an accounts role is essential. Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial.
  • AAT Level 4 required.
