Purchase Ledger Clerk / Manchester Centre / Permanent Role / Salary £26,000 - £28,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working/ Career Development.


NC Associates are working with a market leading property organisation based in central Manchester to assist in recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk who can work within the Purchase Ledger Team and support the Financial Controller and senior management team.


As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working within a team and be involved in all aspects of purchase ledger from processing invoices through to assisting with payment runs.

The business is very busy and this role will require you to be very hands on and be able to assist the Purchase Ledger Manager with improving the processes around the AP function.


Duties

  • Processing purchase invoices onto the in house system
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Setting up payment runs from a number of different bank accounts
  • Managing and ownership of the invoice workflow system
  • Raising POs
  • Assisting with payment runs to suppliers via BACS
  • Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to be adaptable and to prioritise workload
