Logistics Scheduler - Croydon - up to £30k

Main Purpose of the job:

The position of Logistics Scheduler holds responsibility for ensuring all events contracts are properly serviced with the correct stock, vehicles and labour, ensuring contract resource is appropriate, timely and well-coordinated.

The position also includes responsibilities for the correct administering of department paperwork and data relating to procurement and stock control.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Responsible for the day to day coordination of logistics
To support the Manager with all stock in the division, ensuring accurate site and yard stock figures are recorded daily and issues raised are resolved promptly
Responsible for communicating depot activity with the depot staff and producing accurate and clear loading lists with a reasonable period of notice
Responsibility for administering all compliance against rules and restrictions
To provide all required drawings, paperwork and information to the crews in order to assist them with delivering each contract.
To utilise the vehicle tracking tools to ensure we have visibility of drivers at all times
To be responsible for the accurate recording of all activities within the primary contracts
