IT Support Lead - Gaming
50K+ - Hybrid - Kings Cross
Handle is working with one of the most unique and innovative gaming companies to find a self starting IT Support Lead.
Your new role
As the IT Support Lead you will be the first point of contact for all on-site tech support queries. You will also involved in a wide range of IT activities like planning studio expansions, purchasing, and basic security.
You'll report to the CTO, and help the business grow an internal support function as its first dedicated hire.
You will be the type of person who can grow with the company, helping them define best practices for the department.
Responsibilities:
- Help employees resolve issues they have with Mac and Windows laptops and desktops
- Manage purchasing of new hardware, software, licenses, and maintain records on their allocation
- Order, install and maintain AV and conferencing equipment across the office
- Answer support questions from staff regarding our standard software packages
- New employee setup, managing access for contractors or people leaving the company
- Management of onsite IT equipment
- Document IT practices for other employees to reference
Requirements:
- Capable of providing hardware and software support across Mac and PC environments
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience acting as an admin with tools such as Google Workspace, Jira and, Confluence
- Highly organised and proactive
