Higher Level Teaching Assistant

'good ' specialist setting in Gateshead is looking to appoint a creative higher level teaching assistant to join their dynamic and forward thinking school.

The staff at the school pride themselves on being friendly and supportive
- making the school feel homely and a real community

The main duties will include:

Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum
Teaching and managing small classes during PPA
Working with a class teacher to implement interventions
Supporting the planning and delivery of creative and innovative lessons
Delivering and assessing phonics following the school's chosen program
Promoting independence with life skills
Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
Be available for work Monday to Friday
Have experience as a teaching assistant or be a recent graduate
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
A fully checkable work history
In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants._
