    The Role

    As a Paid Search Account Manager, you will lead a team in managing the performance of paid search campaigns for clients. You will be a specialist in executing AI-powered search practices and implementing this on your client base. With robust platform knowledge, you'll navigate client and partner relationships, ensuring impeccable operations, innovation, media plans, performance optimization, and insightful reporting & analysis.

    You'll guide a team of Senior and Account Executives, overseeing their work and nurturing their careers in paid search. As a vital point of contact for your team and clients, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

    You will work closely with your team to manage accounts and deliver performance against client business objectives, aligning with the strategy you will help build with your line manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Lead by example, motivating your team to execute and optimize paid search campaigns to the highest standards as per the Assembly formula for paid search success.
    2. Quality control the work produced by your direct team and provide constructive feedback for their development.
    3. Fully utilize available technology to deliver performance for clients.
    4. Ensure adherence to agreed service level agreements and manage your teams' tasks through workflow systems to deliver on time.
    5. Conduct daily diagnostics to ensure zero errors, manage risks, and maintain consistent process adherence. Identify and resolve issues proactively.
    6. Uncover insights that drive growth for clients through data analysis and actionable insight identification and implementation.
    7. Engage actively with the wider search community through internal team meetings, training & events.
    8. Transform briefs into paid search excellence by effectively collating responses for client sign-off.
    9. Manage clients' budgets on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
    10. Promote partnerships with clients and media owners.
    11. Owning presentations and meetings with clients, delegating elements to your team.
    12. Collaborate with other teams in your department to deliver projects.
    13. Develop client and product knowledge by contributing proactively to search strategies using data and actionable insights.
    14. Train team members.

    Success will be measured by account accuracy, constant monitoring, improved performance, business growth for clients, timely project completion, effective communication, and great client feedback. The development of your team is a key indicator of your ability to lead and manage effectively, driving growth in their skills and knowledge.
