My client is recruiting for a hardworking Administrator/ Financial Officer to work at their Primary school.The role is to start from ASAP
This is working full time hours 25 hours per week, term time only.
8.30am-4pm.
This role will involve admin, reception, finance, and attendance duties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Carry out approved/authorised data processing on the FMS Module (module may vary) Assist in the monitoring and smooth running of the school budget.
Carry out other administrative tasks to assist in the efficient running of the school. Ensure school is CFR compliant and assist in all statutory returns.Update and maintain computerised expenditure and income records for the school's accounts.
Input & update financial information (e.g. invoices, cash limits, staffing costs) to ensure the integrity of financial management systems and to provide sound information for management decision making.
Provide budget managers with timely monitoring reports to enable them to control their budgets in accordance with the school's requirements and to give essential information for the managed budgets.
Assist in the administration of internal and external lettings according to the lettings policy to ensure effective use of school premises and operate a sound re-charging system to ensure that all monies due are collected.
Ensure all cash, cheques and credit cards relating to the school are banked promptly and accurately, considering variable elements such as VAT.
- Computer literate and have previous experience of working within financial regulations.
- Have A current enhanced DBS certificate/ subscription to the update service.
- Experience working in a school as an Administrator.
