Help us provide a product experience that empowers, retains, and sparks joy in our users - so much so, they tell others about the product.

• Design endtoend experiences across the entire user journey. Create flows, prototypes, and visuals for features with a focus on helping the user successfully create business apps in minutes. Think of template galleries, feature walkthroughs, and draganddrop.
• Become the user. To empower our users, we must first understand their problems. Seek out opportunities to learn about our users and advocate for them. Collaborate to create better experiences.
• Build and maintain a design system. Help design and create components inside Figma to bring consistency across the Budibase platform and create UI that delights our users.
• Own the product design and take the lead. We're a small team of leaders. Everybody has autonomy and responsibility. You work on features from ideation to release to maintenance and shape the roadmap of the product. We're all in this together.
• Wear many interesting hats. In a small startup, we help each other out where we can. You might create a new business app template, put together illustrations for a launch, or write a blog post about a new feature you've been working on.
• Collaborate with engineers. To design and build the best product out there, you'll work closely with your engineering peers. Share ideas, consider technical challenges and spark joy in our users
• Shape our strategy. Project ideas aren't just handed off to designers in a fully defined state. You will partner with the head of product to build roadmaps, goals, and success metrics focused on the most exciting and highimpact problems. Everyone on the team has a voice to give structure to a vision, even in the "what if" stage.

• You have at least 3 years of B2B, SaaS experience preferably in product design, UX, user research. You can come in and hit the ground running with fluency and proficiency in all the types of content listed above and the operations necessary to produce them.
• You've improved retention rates/churn before. It's important users get immediate value from Budibase and stick around. You understand how people interact with the platform, what they love, and why the dropoff.
• You're highly productive while designing quality UX. We release updates every month. You plan for the future, break down big projects into small deliverables, wellpresented to engineers, and move fast based on user feedback. You know what and when to improve something.
• You are passionate about clean and simple interfaces. Budibase is a platform with a wide breadth of functionality. It's important the interface is kept simple as we continuously iterate.
• You enjoy going deep into topics. This is a complex problem space that needs to distill down into simple design solutions. You'll immerse yourself in company strategy and exchange ideas with our passionate team of product professionals and engineers to understand our biggest growth opportunities. You will be able to think holistically about the architecture and systems that make Budibase work and help our users work more effectively.
• You put our users first. You must be comfortable with communicating with users, researching product analytics, and advocating for our users.
• You enjoy establishing a brand

• You've been rigorous about measuring your efforts. We want to make sure we're hitting the mark. You're bullish about experimentation and taking risks, but you see value in setting metrics, measuring and learning from every project to make things better.

• Design: Figma, Figjam, Maze, Notion, Adobe CC (XD, Photoshop, illustrator).
• Communications: we use Discord for communications and Google Meet for video calls.
• Ops: we try to use Budibase as much as possible to dogfood workplace solutions.
