Role Purpose

  • To support a range of different potential clients for ChainIQ, providing various forms of help on different projects along with collaborating with _the _Account/Relationship Management team by improving efficiency within the client accounts, ensuring effective indirect sourcing to clients._

Responsibilities


We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join us for their 12 month industry placement who will be passionate about maximizing this opportunity to kick start a career in procurement.

This is a unique opportunity to support our Client Engagement & Service Delivery Teams, where you will have the opportunity to gain international experience working with our global colleagues.


Given the diverse and extensive remit of the two teams, this can be a dynamic role with a great opportunity to develop your knowledge across various functional areas in Procurement.


Main responsibilities will include:


  • Formatting and amending PowerPoint slides for internal and external use.
  • Producing snapshots of potential clients.
  • General client support of delivery of the sales process
  • Note taking during meetings with Senior Leadership.
  • Client pipeline support through updating software.
  • Creating graphs and reports.
  • Analysis of data for monthly reports
  • Creating pivot tables for analysis of internal statistics
  • Support with internal & client reporting/service delivery
  • Help to support the daytoday running of client systems

Requirements:


  • You are a penultimate year student currently in the United Kingdom (essential), with a relevant academic background or related evidence of an interest in Procurement. A Business Degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with various Microsoft programs, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You are highly motivated to maximise this opportunity to kick start a career in procurement/consulting.
  • Highly organised and results driven
  • Strong analytical, communication & organisational skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks & demands and deliver results
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain sensitive information and records
