An opportunity has arisen for you to help us show the West Midlands how its Fire Service makes its citizens safer, stronger and healthier.

Our graphic design and videography work creatively illustrates to the public all aspects of our prevention, protection and response work, as well as our innovations behind the scenes that enable our staff to focus on keeping people safe.

Primarily working in videography, you will shoot, edit and produce the look and feel of our video content for events, social media and internal communications, celebrating the many services we provide. Working with the wider Corporate Communications team, you will seek out good news stories, promoting our innovative ways of responding to incidents and protecting our communities and take our audiences 'behind the scenes' of how we operate to enhance and protect our well-established reputation.

No two weeks will be the same - filming how we respond to fire and rescue calls, from Fire Control to fire ground, promoting our new innovations, technology or kit that will help us save lives, capturing service successes and events, designing public facing

The Corporate Communications team is well respected within West Midlands Fire Service - so you'll have support and access to what you need, along with an established 'look and feel' of our work and the opportunity to learn, develop your skills and propose new ways of doing things.
