Basic Salary:
£34 000 Per Year (10% Bonus On Top Of Basic Salary, Taking You To £37 400)


Location:
Leeds, West Yorkshire


Shift Pattern:
Days Only (2 On / 2 Off / 3 On / 3 Off) (Large Amount of Time off)

The Company
This company are extremely large and very well-established in the packaging industry.


The Role

A toolmaker who has previously worked with plastic injection mould tools would be preferred but not essential

  • Maintain tools, including preventive maintenance, in preparation for Production to meet the requirements of the Production Plan. Including Tooling strip down and diagnosis for repair and Tooling improvements.
  • Assist Production personnel in diagnosing of tooling/production issues.
  • Advise on new tooling projects to highlight potential design weaknesses.
  • Assist in ensuring adequate stock levels for tooling and consumables are maintained.
  • Demonstrate ability to advise on the repair and modification of tooling and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Highlight to management when routine servicing/repairs are outside of the scope of the Company.
  • Work to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement.
  • Polishing of moulds to quality acceptable levels.
  • Fabrication of fixtures and spare parts for tooling.
