Tempest Education are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Class Teacher to join a SEMH High School based in North Manchester.


This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous SEMH or SEN experience to utilise their current skills in a welcoming and rewarding role.

Duties as a SEMH Teacher:


  • Working with children with special educational needs and/or emotional, social and mental health difficulties.
  • Effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn.
  • Using restorative practice.

Requirements as a SEMH Teacher:


  • Eligible to work within the UK
  • Experience working within KS1/KS
  • Enhanced DBS on the online update service
  • Experience in similar setting
