Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting one of Nottingham's longest established software companies.

Due to a recent company merger and increased investment, our client is seeking the addition of a C# Backend Developer to join their growing team.

In return, you can expect to receive a generous starting salary of up to c£55,000, plus full entitlement to an annual bonus scheme, private healthcare scheme, flexible working options, paid overtime and genuine opportunities for progression.

Roles & Responsibilities

Participate in each phase of the software life cycle, including design, programming, configuration and implementation
Develop software for bespoke automation pilot systems using a mix of C#, C++, SQL, XML, MS Visual Studio and VB.NET
Develop key knowledge of bespoke ERP system, and assist with maintaining database systems, including dashboards and extracting analytic reports to review performance
Adhering to ISO 9001 industry quality standards
Use SQL databases daily to produce customized reports
Collaborate with the Software Testers to resolve bug tracker issues and facilitate API integrations
Consult closely with cross departmental management team, key stakeholders and onsite customers

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable C# programming experience essential
Previous experience working with VB.NET frameworks highly desirable
Experienced with SQL servers and other associated analytic tools essential
Previous experience in the process control or automation sector preferable
Experience configuring and implementing ERP systems would be useful
Stakeholder management experience
Experience working with XML and MS Excel desirable
Demonstrable experience working with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
