Finance Apprentice


We are looking to employ a Finance Apprentice to be based in London and to work with us on a full-time basis for 23 months.


As a Finance Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of Finance.

This apprenticeship is designed to provide exposure to a wide range of financial functions, including but not limited to accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

You will attend and complete relevant apprenticeship learning activities, and other integral training. As well as working closely with experienced professionals who are dedicated to mentoring and guiding you throughout your apprenticeship.

This role is 4 days working and 1 day of studying per week towards your AAT Certification.

This a great opportunity for school leavers and junior professionals to start an exciting career in specialty insurance. Training, professional and personal development opportunities and on the job, learning form an integral part of this job.

The Role

  • Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare reports to highlight key performance indicators.
  • Gain practical experience in basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to contribute to the budgeting process.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide analysis on variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
  • Input financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their financial needs and provide support.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on financial matters.

  • MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint and MS Outlook

Education and Professional Qualifications:


  • A-Levels required preferably Maths and English
