Medical Lead - Aberdeen City H&SCP

You will have a key role within the wider clinical leadership team contributing to continuous improvement of Primary and Community Care Services by influencing and negotiating the planning and delivery of services.

You will provide professional support and guidance to Geriatricians, Specialist Rehabilitation Consultants and Medical staff within Sexual Health. They will also provide a professional link between both Independent and Salaried GP Practices within Aberdeen City.


You will contribute to the delivery of the Partnership's strategic plans through collaboration with colleagues, building solid working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams across the partnership and providing a vital professional link between GP Practices, the Partnership and wider strategic partners.


There will be 2 Clinical Directors, this post will be appointed to on a sessional basis, working over 4 sessions per week.

At least one of the post holders will be employed as a GP currently working in Aberdeen City, our current medical lead is a GP which opens this opportunity to other colleagues.
