• An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Warehouse for a Warehouse Operative, reporting into the Production Director. We are a leading manufacturer of both own label and branded beauty and toiletry products; such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, shower gels, sun protection and sunless tanning.

We currently operate a 1 DAY SHIFT system, Monday to Friday. So, this would suit an experienced Operative who would prefer 8am-4.30pm hours.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for order picking, goods in & out and have full reasonability of keeping the warehouse to a high standard ready for customer visits and in compliance with Health & Safety


Duties include:

• Daily use of both counter balance and reach truck.
• Safely handling of chemicals.
• Liaising with the manufacturing team and senior management to maintain stock levels of bulk materials.
• Completing monthly stock takes.
• Adhering to all compliance tasks.
• Housekeeping.

They will have a proven track record of working in a warehouse environment and would lead by example in terms of good relationships, attendance and punctuality.

A large part of the job is working as part of a small team, and we require a person that is comfortable working on their own initiative with excellent time management and organisational skills.

As a small and extremely busy manufacturing company, you will need to communicate closely with colleagues in other areas of the business, particularly the Production Director.

Please be aware this is a physically demanding position with heavy lifting involved. Both a counter balance and reach truck licence is key to been successful.
