Job Description - Counsellor / Therapist - ADDICTION

Location - Guildford

Hours - 40hours per week

Salary - Up to £27,000 (depending on experience)

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high quality therapeutic support to substance misusing clients. We're looking for someone to join our team.


Your duties would consist of contributing to assessments of clients within agreed timescales, deliver therapeutic support through group-work sessions and one to one interventions and counsel individuals about their substance use.


Essential

  • Experience of direct work with substance misusing clients
  • Level 4 or higher qualification in Counselling or equivalent
  • Must have right to work in the UK

Job Type:
Freelance


Salary:
£27,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Banbury, Oxfordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Substance Misusing Client: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Level 4 or higher qualification in Counselling or equivalent
(required)


Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
