Fabco Sanctuary Ltd is a leading manufacturer of specialist glazing, steel windows and doors in the UK. We are a successful family-run business designing/ manufacturing and installing bespoke steel glazing solutions in to residential and commercial buildings. We are looking to expand our team with a Trainee Window/ Door Surveyor.


Trainee Window and Door Surveyor
This role will be customer-facing on site, dealing with home-owners, builders and architects/ designers.

For at least the first 3 months you will accompany an experienced Surveyor every day to site who will train and mentor you; this will include office-based training at our West Sussex factory/ head office with our Project Team, Technical Team and CAD Department.

You will have a keen interest in construction and demonstrate good numeric, IT and communication skills with first-class attention to detail.

External Training including CSCS and PASMA will be provided.


If successful, you will mainly work alone, travelling around the UK surveying sites ahead of fabrication and installation of our windows & doors.

Occasional overnight stays will be required.


Requirements:


  • Educated to Alevel, BTEC or similar other
  • Knowledge of reading CAD plans/ elevations desirable but not essential
  • Experience of use with small tools desirable but not essential.
  • Good basic maths ability and have a logical/ analytical approach.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Driving License required.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£230,000.00 per year
