The business is growing strongly, both organically and by acquisition, creating a group with more than 15 offices across 5 continents.


Due to further growth, they are currently having an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join their highly successful team in London.


Your Role


To support the continued growth and in line with their ambitious plans, we are looking to recruit a Finance Manager responsible for the management and development of the accounts team including local reporting and liaising with the Head Office in Europe.

The successful individual will have the following experience and attributes.


Your Skills and Experience

  • You are a fully qualified accountant, either ACA, CIMA, or ACCA or qualified by experience. Ideally, you will have worked in industry (professional services) for several years postqualification and have had a group reporting role (although not essential).You have strong technical accounting knowledge, a grasp of numbers, and analytical and communication skills, including Excel and modelling.
  • You will take control and oversight of Oracle NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, this is following the transfer from Xero cloudbased software (to be complete fully by June Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP is desirable.
  • You will have oversight of the company's accounts, leading the analysis and having responsibility for the review and completion of the company's monthly management accounts on a timely basis for Partner presentation, including six monthly reporting to thehead office in Europe.
  • You will develop the inhouse accounts team as the company seeks to streamline its operations by reporting not just to the UK, but also at the Group level to the head office in Europe.
  • You will oversee the endtoend finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, monitoring cashflow, and balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to systems and controls, as well as dealing with adhoc projects and requests.
  • You will manage the endtoend audit process of current systems while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
  • You must drive the continuous improvement of endtoend accounting practices, specifically dealing with working capital management and assisting with full responsibility for budgeting and forecasting.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that adequate insurance coverage is in place and renewed for all areas of the firm, liaising with the landlord and NatWest bank for lease/facility renewals as and when required.
  • You must continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
  • You will lead the team responsible for payroll, and VAT and ensure all statutory reporting obligations to Companies House and HMRC are fulfilled.


  • Your staff responsibilities

  • Motivate and train all finance members of staff and ensure cover is provided at key reporting times during the year through sickness or holiday leave.


  • Your selfdevelopment

  • Attend CPD training courses to develop relevant knowledge and skills and maintain CPD records. Maintain and uphold the ethical standards of accounting and the law and regulations purporting to money laundering and terrorist financingas required by the profession.

Remuneration and Rewards

  • Circa £60,000 £70,000 package, comprising base salary (dependant on experience and skills)
