We are thrilled to be working with our leading Legal client to recruit a Proposals Writer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is one of Scotlands well respected Law Firms with offices across Scotland.

Role Purpose

You will support the Proposals Manager to produce professionally drafted proposal delivery and win proposal submissions across the following business sectors Private, Public and third sectors.

Role Responsibilities
Researching clients and operating sectors to identify the opportunity qualification processes by understand key priorities and win themes
Working in conjunction with the Proposals Manager with the development of the response structure
Developing persuasive first draft answers/ responses using information from the proposals library (where available) and issuing for review by the Proposals Manager/Legal teams
Drafting/editing and Re-writing responses from content contributors from across the firm to ensure win themes are clearly understood
In conjunction with the Proposal Manager review the firms library of proposal collateral to maintain its accuracy and where appropriate taking corrective action
Proposals Writer will work closely with the Head of Proposals, Proposals Manager and internal clients to support work winning efforts to achieve the firms strategic, sector-specific and client-specific plans
Work and collaborate closely with members of the wider MBD team to deliver specific initiatives time efficiently and cost effectively
Key Skills
A minimum 3 years PQE Solid experience in a dedicated proposal/bids role within the professional services
Excellent time management skills whilst managing competing priorities under pressure
Strong track record of influencing and developing relationships at a senior level
Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external
Highly motivated, willing to go above and beyond
Strong communication skills in written/spoken English
Experience in presenting complex information
Excellent problem-solving skills
