A vacancy has arisen within our Crawler Crane Team for a Fitter / Engineer.


To provide a professional service to the company's customers both external and internal on site nationally along with working in our main Cambridgeshire depot.

You will provide breakdown support, maintenance and rig / de-rig our large fleet of Lattice and Telescopic crawler cranes.
- _Ideally a background of Crawler Cranes or Heavy Plant._
- _Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 preferred._
- _Experience in performing lifting operations (CPCS/NVQ level 2 or above preferred but not essential)._
- _Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and / or industry._
- _Technical competence in the areas of electrical, electronic, air and hydraulic systems._
- _Flexible attitude, must be prepared to work outside of normal working hours and away from home when business needs require._
- _Previous Liebherr experience preferred but not essential._
- _Ensure effective implementation of all company policies and procedures. Including addressing any safety issues and concerns, proactively contribute to the Safety Committees, completing Hazard and Near miss cards and share good and bad practices._
- _Attend Inductions and briefings, read, understand and implement relevant Task Sheets, Method Statements & Safe Systems of Work. Implement the controls provided._
- _Use of our internal system to log / close and update works completed along with completing paperwork in a timely manner to ensure all chargeable works can be recovered._
- _Liaise and support with Management and Supervisor regarding work required, Identify and problem solve._

Salary Dependant on qualifications and experience.


Salary:
£17.30-£19.80 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime
