Credit Controller role at a nationwide business based in Northwich. The role will pay up to £24,000.


Client Details
Page Personnel are working with a leading business with a diverse and collaborative workforce. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team at their office in Northwich.


Description


As the Credit Controller, you will be working within the wider finance function and will be responsible for key Credit Control and billing duties across the business.


Credit Controller duties include but not limited to:

  • Reviewing customer account balances and prompting them for payment of overdue invoices
  • Raising issues re problem accounts with the Director of Administration and or the wider Credit Control team.
  • Resolving queries raised on invoices by liaising with the client and portfolio directors
  • Taking client payments
  • Issuing statements and copy invoices
  • Proactively providing an overview on aged account balances across all debtor portfolios
  • Reviewing your own portfolio of aged account balances, diarising and monitoring payment promises
  • Negotiating repayments in line with policies and monitoring fulfilment of promises
  • Answer incoming calls for the business, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking messages
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail

Profile

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts

  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office package
