Head Chef - £55k financial package, straight shifts, closed Mondays, closed Christmas and closed 1st week of January (3rd to 10th Jan). Brighton, brigade of 10 to 12, meat free and veg-centric dining experience, 28 days paid holiday, companypension scheme, 40% off when you dine with us, uniform provided and cleaned, established restaurant, good work life balance as straight shifts.

Salary & Benefits

Basic salary and Tronc: £40,000:


  • Monthly performance bonus based on agreed targets: £12,000:

Experience

You need to have the following experience:

  • To be an
    inspirational leader, to attend and actively contribute to regular senior management meetings.
  • Have the confidence to recruit, interview and manage a large brigade of chefs
  • Deliver and improve training schedules, appraisals, mentoring and monitoring.
  • Be an
    excellent Kitchen Manager, capable and confident of running a busy kitchen, have experience of working on all sections including pastry.
  • Oversee the preparation of food and providing service of the highest standards possible
  • Design staff rotas
  • Communicate and nurture relationships with suppliers, ordering, and negotiating best prices
  • Provide menu and kitchen costings
  • Control and manage stock.
  • Build your own profile and status with in the company.

You MUST be working and living in the UK or have Right to Work/Settlement Status.
**You must NOT be a job hopper.
