Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to become an integral member of our finance team.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the process for the establishment of credit facilities for new customers and the collection of existing debts for Christeyns UK Ltd, Oscrete UK Ltd and Christeyns Technologies Ireland Ltd.

Main Duties

Maintaining effective collection controls.
Managing the debtor's ledger.
Produce and distribute all customer statements to agreed timescales.
Debt collection via telephone and other available methods.
Liaising with our fieldbased colleagues.
Review of credit held list and releasing orders.
Declaring invoices on the invoice finance facilities and transferring cash were appropriate.
Reviewing bank statements and posting cash to customer accounts.
Maintaining accounting records for Christeyns Technologies Ireland Ltd for purchase ledger, expense payments and the reconciliation of bank statements.
Liaison with external debt collection agencies where appropriate.

Provide cover and support for colleagues within the finance department where appropriate.

Essential Criteria

Experience of working in a credit control role.
Experience of purchase ledger invoice posting.
Previous experience of bank reconciliations.
Good telephone manner and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Ability to take ownership of situations and work to resolve problems.

Desirable Criteria

Experience of using Microsoft Dynamic
