Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Kettering

Start Date: January 2025

Pay: £90 - £100 per day

We are currently working with a highly regarded primary school based around the Kettering area, supporting them recruit a full time early years teaching assistant to start from January 2025.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging early years activities that promote learning and development.
• Support children's social, emotional, and educational growth.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to the Lead Teacher.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring resources are easily accessible.
• Prepare learning materials and resources.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.Requirements:
• Relevant qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and a passion for supporting young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of children and the school
