Description

Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary are looking to employ a second part time Maintenance Person for 3 days each week to help maintain the Sanctuary, keep it well presented, Health & Safety compliant and it's vehicles in a safe working condition.

This role will involve basic maintenance tasks such as repairs to site equipment, carrying out safety inspections, driving jobs on an occasional basis as required, painting and decorating and general site work as required to include grounds maintenance and gardening duties,
The person we are looking to employ must hold a clean manual driving licence,
Be very skilled in DIY and basic vehicle maintenance jobs,
Happy to work alone and be motivated, cheerful and polite to both staff, volunteers and visitors alike,
Be aware of working to a mínimal budget and help keep costs to the Sanctuary low by sourcing required items sensibly,
Be supportive of the Sanctuaries aims and values in regards to animal welfare, and have an animal loving nature due to the location of the role,
The person must take pride in their work and help keep Holly Hedge looking it's best at all times and work in line with current Health and Safety regulations,

The role is a paid role with a salary of £9.50 per hour and pro-rata holiday entitlement, which will be further discussed at interview.

Hours would be 8.30am - 5pm over 3 days, with an hour unpaid lunch break,
