Working in our community-based outreach service you will develop, deliver, evaluate and maintain an effective education and a youth engagement programme to actively and positively engage with young people in order to improve life outcomes and reduce the risk of them engaging in abusive relationships.
Using existing strong links with schools and community groups you will offer programmes to children and young people, such as 'Escape the Trap', to raise awareness and develop understanding of the dynamics of coercive and controlling behaviours, including sexual coercion, at an early stage in their experience of intimate relationships.
Working therapeutically, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, you will be supporting young people in their recovery from their experience of domestic abuse, helping them to recognise the impact of abusive behaviours on their emotional and mental health, strengthening their confidence and enabling them to make healthier relationship choices.
You must have:

- a well organised, professional and flexible approach to your work with a calm and re-assuring manner.
