Description
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding postdoctoral researcher with first class statistical analysis skills to join us.

Work within the role will include generating descriptive statistics (for example, survey responses about social care use and analgesic use, both cross-sectional and longitudinal), and more complex analyses (for example, quantifying the extent of misclassification between drug exposure data as defined by self-reported information vs prescribing data).

Prior experience in epidemiology would be well suited for this role, as would applicants with a background in biostatistics, mathematics, and other numerate disciplines.

You will be based in the CfE, a vibrant multidisciplinary research centre.

You should have a thorough understanding of epidemiological concepts, of applied statistical methods, and have strong commitment to Open Science.

Our University is positive about flexible working - you can find out more here

Blended working arrangements may be considered.
