What youll do:

As Lead ACP for Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgical services, you will work closely with other departmental ACPs/tACPs, Senior Nurses, Consultant Leads, the Care Group Manager and the Divisional Head of Nursing/Professions.

You will lead on all aspects of advanced clinical practice and be focused on patient safety, experience and quality assurance frameworks.

You must be able to demonstrate a compassionate approach to the care of patients and the public.

The Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgical services Lead ACP will provide managerial and professional support on a day-to-day basis to all ACP/tACPs across Cardiovascular and Thoracic, ensuring all 4 pillars of advanced practice are delivered.

You will need to possess the ability to work as a key decision maker alongside the multi professional team, ensuring the safe implementation of an advanced practice strategy within the care group in accordance with research, policy, national standards and the NMC Code

If you are a confident, well organised, strong, visible leader with high standards, excellent clinical skills and knowledge with extensive experience of working within Cardiovascular and Thoracic, who thrives in a busy and diverse clinical environment then we would like to hear from you.

The successful applicant will have proven experience as a credentialed Cardiovascular and Thoracic ACP. Track record in leadership within Cardiovascular and Thoracic is essential as are excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
