Technical 3B - £24,294 - £25,545

12 week temporary - immediate start.

Full time post, however part time could be considered.

Based at Fire Service Headquarters, Vauxhall Road, Birmingham

The Facilities Management section of the West Midlands Fire Service are currently looking for a dynamic Utilities Co-Ordinator to join their team for a 12-week temporary position.

Under the general direction of the Senior Surveyor, the successful applicant will be required to review, input and process utility bills.

The individual will be required to work independently and have good attention to detail.

This administrative position will involve the scrutiny and cross-checking of utility bills for gas, electricity and water for all sites across the service.

These bills will require inputting into various spreadsheets and then passing for authorisation to release payment. Usage will need to be captured from bills and entered into our system so we can monitor consumption levels.

This role may include querying and chasing up incorrect or missing bills, obtaining meter readings and liaising with staff within the section and other departments.

The role may also include supporting administrative tasks of other functions within the section if required. Full training will be provided.

The role also includes the review of room bookings at Headquarters.
