Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a local building services group, that's in its third decade of trading.

As an established firm and a leader in its industry, its portfolio boasts several high street retails brands throughout the U.K.

Due to businessgrowth, they are seeking a Site Manager from a Joinery/ Shopfitting/Multi trade background to join its Retail Department.


Reporting directly to the Department Manager, your general duties will include ensuring all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted, maintaining and producing, on request, up-to-date Health and Safety records and ensuringthat accurate progress reports are sent to the Project Manager.

At smaller sites, you will be identified as the Site Manager where circa 25% of your role will be 'on the tools' to ensure the projects run to agreed timescales and at larger sites, this willbe the lion share of your role.

You will also be required to ensure the quality of the finished product adheres with company and client standards, and ensuring an accurate inspection and snag list of works.

To be considered, you will have demonstrable experience within a Joinery/ Shopfitting/ Multi trade background.

It is essential you have both CSCS and SMSTS qualifications and would be advantageous if you have gained IPAF, First Aid at work and Asbestos Awarenessqualifications.

It is imperative that you are hands-on and willing to contribute to the progress of the site, in any given area.

In return, you will be paid an hourly rate in line with your experience and proven track record. You will typically work a mix of days and nights, generally Sunday to Thursday, although this could vary.

You will ideally be commutable to the office that isbased in West Yorkshire, however individuals with demonstrable experience within the retail fitout sector, can be considered to work from home and attend the office as required.
