Yolk Recruitment is excited to be exclusively working with a growing medical manufacturer based in South Wales. Due to significant growth within the business, they are looking to add a Quality Technician to their Quality department.

You will be responsible for maintaining and driving all areas of quality and will be the bridge between shop floor and the office.

They are currently looking to reduce some of their procedures and introduce new techniques and testing methods - this willbe a key part of your role.

This is what you'll be doing as Quality Technician:

Assisting the QHSE manager in maintaining the current QMS system
Managing nonconformities related to products and reporting on NCRs, CARs, and CAPAs
Assisting QC inspectors with incoming verification, acceptance criteria and storage requirements of raw material and reports on supplier performance
Identifying areas of improvement within the QMS and planning the implementation of change
Managing internal and external audits and identifying opportunities for improvement
Creation, review, and updates to documents within the QMS.
Routine testing and monitoring

The experience you'll bring to the team as Quality Technician:

Must be able to devise testing methods and perform testing to aid validation and verification of products.
Experience with statistical process control, error proofing, and root cause analysis
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing and productionbased business
Previous experience working with ISO13485 or ISO 9001, ideally both
