The Role:
- The Traffic and Safety team are responsible for monitoring Hampshire's highway network and implementing measures to reduce casualties and control traffic movements across the County.

Engineering Assistant you will be providing support to the

Traffic and Safety team to assist in the administration of permanent and temporary
-
Traffic Regulation Orders and assessing abnormal load vehicle movement notifications. General administrative experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided in these areas.
- With the ability to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines you will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to the Traffic and Safety service.
Apprenticeship Information - The postholder is expected to attend training and complete an 18 month Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours as set out in the Level 3 Business Administrator standard.
- Your studies will be both virtual and also in person at HQ in Winchester.
- This position will also be considered as an apprenticeship role with the expectation that the successful applicant will complete a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship.
