Position Overview:
Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of CNC machine operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, promoting skill development and proficiency in CNC machining techniques.
Production Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to optimize machine utilization and reduce downtime.
Quality Assurance:
- Enforce and uphold strict quality control measures to guarantee the precision and accuracy of machined components.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures, addressing any nonconformities and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule regular equipment maintenance and ensure CNC machines are operating at peak efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, taking prompt corrective action to minimize disruptions to production.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote adherence to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to enhance awareness and compliance with safety regulations.
Salary:
From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
