We are currently looking for a meticulous and committed Payroll Assistant to join our client, a small to medium-sized manufacturing company located in Merthyr Tydfil. As a crucial member of our team, you will have a significant role in ensuring the precise and prompt handling of payroll for our dedicated employees.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process payroll, including calculations for worked hours, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Work closely with the HR department to guarantee smooth coordination between payroll and other HR operations.
  • Provide assistance with additional administrative duties as necessary.


Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a payroll or financial administration role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively.
