Role Title:
Income Officer


Hours: 35 hours per week


Salary:
£28,718-£35,897 per annum plus £2174 car allowance (salary offered dependent on experience)


Contract:
Permanent


We're looking for an experienced Income Officer to join our Income and Advice Services Team in Dartford on a permanent basis You will split your time between working from our office in Dartford, being out and about on your patch, as well as having the opportunity to work from home.


In this role, you will effectively manage rent, service charge and debt collection for a mixed tenure patch including rented homes, homeowners, and garages empowering our customers to sustain their tenancies.

What you'll be passionate about:

What you'll need to show us:

  • Experience of working within an income collection environment or relevant transferrable skills.
  • Experience of working within a customer facing role with proven ability to deal with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, precisely, and sensitively both in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under pressure.
  • Strong IT skills and experience of using a range of ICT systems relevant to job role, e.g., MS Office.
  • Able to work outside of core office hours or at an alternative location depending on business needs, this includes visiting customers in their homes.

Hours and Terms:


  • This is a fulltime role working 35 hours per week.
  • You will be required to work on a rota covering business hours of either 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
