Description

Our client is a leading food sector authority, promoting the industry to the UK and the world and providing research and guidance within the FMCG industry.

A new role has arisen for Web Officer, hopefully to start immediately, based out of their head office in Edinburgh with hybrid working.

The job specification is outlined below:

Lead on the day-to-day management._
Lead and manage publishing of content of website primarily via Content Management System and Document Management System
Create project plan for website work for 2023 and beyond which includes content needs and development work
Ensure content added to website is accessible
Champion clear process so colleagues know how to request content changes on the website
Work with current CMS users to consolidate/remove users outwith Comms
Develop monthly reporting structure (and output), that provides insight/intel for site and content performance

Manage relationship with your digital/web agency_

Working with brand team to ensure user testing and user experience insight is considered, via your audience segments
Raise helpdesk issues/bugs, etc.
Manage the next Umbraco (CMS) upgrade
GA4 set up and training for website analytics
Scope 'new dev' opportunities website enhancements/improvements
Agree KPIs and analytics and reporting for web channel, moving forward
Review, cost and process all agency budget/project requirements

Review, support and develop site architecture amendments, based on our new Corporate Plan_

Audit existing content, to provide direction/insight for new structure
Work with wider team(s) to align existing/new content with Corporate Plan 232
Scope extent of work, and cost/project manage as necessary

Salary to £28,000 + benefits
