Job Title:
SEN Tutor

Contract Type:
Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver highquality lessons and learning activities, tailored to the needs of each pupil
Provide onetoone or small group support to pupils, to help them to achieve their academic and personal goals
Work closely with the wider school team, including teachers, therapists and support staff, to ensure that each pupil is fully supported
Monitor pupil progress and report regularly to parents and carers, providing feedback and advice on how best to support their child's learning and development
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievement, in line with school policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

A recognised teaching qualification and/or a relevant degree in a related field
Experience working with pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues
A patient and supportive approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils to achieve their full potential
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a dedicated team
