The post holder will assist and contribute to the on-going development of the Trauma Informed Personality Disorder pathway and ensure good communications between Mental Health Services and partners


Ability to:

Involve service users in all aspects of the care they receive and provide the highest quality of clinical care.

Ensuring a timely acceptance and assessment of Service Users referred to the Trauma Informed Personality Disorder pathway Providing service users with written information about services.

Ensuring that there is evidence that service users are involved in planning of and satisfied with their own care.

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and other agencies.

Carrying out full mental health assessment with service users utilising structured and evidence based assessment and outcome measures to enhance clinical effectiveness and complement role.

Formulating, implementing and evaluating interventions with individuals which are user focused and recovery based using a psychosocial approach.

Embracing diagnostic uncertainty and assess/formulate and plan appropriate short term strategies as part of directing inappropriate referrals to the most appropriate service.

Providing specialist support and advice to professionals in relation to practice development. Carrying out robust risk assessment in accordance with Trust/Organisational protocols. Taking on the Care Co-ordination role of service users with complex needs working alongside other team members. Engaging with families and carers.

Providing psycho education and promotion to user and families/carers. Offering evidence based assessment and support to families/carers.
