Oakwood 24 are now seeking a Team Leader, for Young People to join our Client's team of professionals.


You will be working for a specialist provider of 16+ Semi-Independent, providing a range of accommodation, care and support services for young people from step-down care between the age of 16 to 25 with basic, enhanced and complex needs to support their transition into adulthood and independent living.

The supported housing service has 24-7 staffing support.

To make this a success, we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Team leader to fulfill the role with their friendly and expanding team and reporting to the Head of Operations


Must haves:


  • You have an ability to communicate with people effectively on all levels.
  • You work with integrity and genuine passion to support challenging young people.
  • You are confident and able to provide a dynamic and effective leadership to team.
  • You are able to multitask and prioritise work under pressure.
  • You are able to use initiative
  • You are patient and understanding
  • You have a willingness to work flexibly as required

Requirements:


  • NVQ Health and Social Care Level
  • Enhanced DBS check and registered on the Update Service.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without a work permit or visa restrictions.
  • Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviours/Mental Health
  • DoLs (Deprivation Of Liberty Order)
  • Experience and knowledge of dealing with safeguarding issues and procedures.
  • Assessment & Support Planning
  • Equality & Diversity
  • Medication Management
  • Health & Safety
  • IT Literate

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.00-£16.00 per hour
