Job Duties:

This role provides administrative support to the front-line Specialist Adolescent Service Hertfordshire (SASH).

SASH is a uniquely integrated service delivering a range of interventions to adolescents and their families, including undertaking Youth Justice Orders, Statutory Social Work to Children Looked After and family support/prevention work.


Our Business Support Team is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individual who can ensure that a high level of administrative support is provided to the team, to facilitate an excellent service being delivered to the young people the SASH team works with.


One of the most important tasks you will have are setting up and taking minutes for important meetings involving a number of professionals.

The role also requires preparing information for Youth Court and updating results, this requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


If you enjoy a role where no two days are the same, working at a fast pace to meet important and statutory deadlines, this could be the role for you.

Engaging with professionals across the service, including, Police, Court Service, Social Workers and Managers, you will enjoy a varied and challenging role.


Although there are no specific qualifications required for these roles previous administrative experience in service delivery or a business-related qualification would be beneficial.

You will be a competent administrator with experience of using Microsoft Office and of taking minutes at meetings.

You will be a confident team member, acting as the first point of contact for Managers and possess excellent customer care skills.

English Fluency:

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
