Lakeside Stamford is a friendly surgery run by doctors, nurses and associated staff who know their patients and care deeply about the quality of health provided to our community.

This position has multiple vacancies.

What you will do
You will be assisting and directing patients toward the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way


Duties include:

  • Processing appointment requests from patients for on the day and future appointments
  • Receive and make telephone calls as required.
  • Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery
  • Registration of new patients computer data entry and medical records
  • Front desk duties.
  • Administration duties.
  • Process digital platform submissions.

Essential Criteria
We are looking for somebody with;

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to use their own initiative
  • The ability to work as part of an integrated and multiskilled team
  • Good telephone manner, even when under pressure
